Our travel agent, Storm with Travel Junkies happens to live in Costa Rica and he got us an excellent room & location. He far exceeded our expectations and also lives there which made it much easier. We were so fortunate to have the view we did and the location in hotel (Costa Verde). Absolutely breathtaking. Pros-Beautiful grounds including hiking trails, close proximity and convenience to beach, 3 pools to choose from, large rooms and huge balconies. Cons-Just be careful and don't leave food out b/c ants will appear. The only disappointment we encountered was that two separate neighboring rooms were inconsiderate and were talking loud at night and you could pretty much hear everything. One of them was 2 levels below and since there are no windows, you hear everything. Bring ear plugs just in case.
Overall this was our favorite place on our entire trip!

We just arrived back from an incredible trip to Costa Rica (December 2006). Besides, the fact that Costa Rica is simply an awesome vacation, with so much to offer (from tons to adventure excursions to relaxation on the beach), it was our travel agent Storm Richardson of http://imatraveljunkie.com/ that came up with an itinerary that could not have run more smoothly.
While my boyfriend was a little hesitant using a “random” travel agent that I found on the web, this quickly changed for him. From the moment we started an email exchange about our possible trip and then after speaking to Storm over the phone, we could tell we were in excellent hands. Storm is an American who has been living in Costa Rica for many years and his knowledge of the country is vast. What made us feel even more comfortable was that he was accessible on cell and online basically 24/7 to answer all of our questions and concerns both in the planning stages and also more importantly while we were in Costa Rica. Storm was most interested in ensuring we had a great time in Costa Rica and his honesty and professionalism was much appreciated.
Storm organized and confirmed each of our hotels and transfers to every one of our destinations in Costa Rica. With his expertise and also our input as to the kind of holiday we wanted, he planned all of our day excursions, including transportation. What we found particularly remarkable was that given all the transfers, activities etc. we had there was not one instance where anything went wrong. It was almost too good to be true. We paid in advance, via secure Pay Pal and did not have to deal with this while we were in Costa Rica which was a huge convenience. The prices we were quoted and charged were totally reasonable.
We would without hesitation recommend Travel Junkies and Storm Richardson in particular to anyone planning to visit Costa Rica. Upon meeting him for a drink on our last night in Costa Rica, we learned he is just as versed in other areas of Central America. We look forward to using his services again in the future.
