Belize City
Belize City, with a population of 70,000, is a bustling, fascinating place, the country's biggest city and former capital. Located on the east coast in the heart of the country, it is a gateway to Belize's historical and cultural points.
The Fort Street Restaurant has amazing food. A colonial style residence surrounded with a veranda, their specialities include many seafoods among lobster, shrimp, crab and conch. Those not interested in dishes of the sea, may enjoy local beef, chicken or pork. They are open Monday-Saturday for breakfast(7-10am), lunch (11am-2pm) and dinner (5:30-10pm). An average dinner meal with wine will cost about $25 US and above.
